 120 free camps for 2,443 local students

 21 camps for 734 international students

Kids’ activities for 240 families on holiday in Khao Sok

Local Outreach Coordinator

The Local Outreach Coordinator will oversee our work with the local community. They should be confident in leading and developing a team, and have experience in coordinating activities for students.

Thai ability: must be fluent!

English ability: medium preferred

Main responsibilities

The role of Local Outreach Coordinator includes, but is not limited to:

  • Plan activity camps for local schools and during weekends and holidays that follow our pedagogical models
  • Facilitate activities for both local and international students and guests
  • Lead a small team of activity facilitators, including delegating and following up on tasks
  • Provide ongoing training, constructive feedback and the opportunity for self-reflection for all facilitator team members
  • Liaise with local schools and provide training in sustainability and/or education where possible
  • Contribute towards the planning and running of local events that support our goals as the opportunity arises

 

Requirements

  • Thai national
  • At least 3 years’ experience in indoor or outdoor education
  • Experience of running activity camps for schools
  • At least 2 years’ experience in leading a team

 

Desirable qualities

  • Beginner level of English or higher
  • Genuine interest in sustainability
  • Valid driving license
  • Able to use Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Degree in any subject

Head of Operations

The Head of Operations will lead the team responsible for hospitality, including housekeeping, kitchen and maintenance.

Thai ability: must be fluent!

English ability: basic preferred

Main responsibilities

The role of Head of Operations includes, but is not limited to:

  • Manage a small team of staff by implementing effective systems of work, as well as delegating and following up on tasks as they arise
  • Oversee the maintenance of facilities and equipment
  • Monitor and report operational expenses
  • Support the Camp Director and Administrator with other operational duties such as purchasing and HR
  • Inform the housekeeping and kitchen team of their daily work requirements based on the number of guests
  • Hiring daily labor to support with housekeeping and cooking as required when we host larger groups

 

Requirements

  • Thai national
  • At least 2 years’ management experience in hospitality
  • Beginner level of English or higher
  • Able to live onsite
  • Valid driving license

 

Desirable qualities

  • Genuine interest in sustainability
  • Able to use Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Experience in using booking systems in hospitality

Activity Facilitator

The Activity Facilitator will work directly with students on a daily basis. They should be enthusiastic about education and enjoy working in the outdoors.

English ability: medium preferred but will accept applications from all abilities

Main responsibilities

The role of Activity Facilitator includes, but is not limited to:

  • Run activities for both local and international students and guests that contribute to the organisation’s overall goals
  • Help to plan and facilitate school camps both onsite and offsite
  • Prepare and take care of equipment related to activities
  • Help to develop new activities

 

Requirements

  • Thai national
  • Passion for working with children
  • Medium level of conversational English or higher

 

Desirable qualities

  • Experience of working in school camps or similar
  • Genuine interest in sustainability
  • Experience of using Canva or an alternative computer program for designing
